How do you forsee the election, who will come to vote
May 11, 2012 @ 12:35:20 PM EST

I just want to take a step back and put something on your head for you to consider.  I wont be writing a long blog today but I felt compelled to address somethings.  Every year politicians and the like always say this is one of the most important elections ever and with the country one bad decision from falling over a cliff and collapsing into an anarchist abyss people really need to think how they will vote and if they will vote.  Now let me clear this up WHO should vote should be every man, woman and legally aged person that can vote, but how will you vote.  Will you vote based on a candidate who for the life of me i cant figure out what his plan of action is.  From what I seen since President Obama was voted in was the outright  opposite of Obama syndrome by the GOP.  EVERYTHING OBAMA DOES WE WILL VOTE THE OPPOSITE. Anyway im sure we all know this, but how will you vote.  All politicians try to guage how and which segment of the population will vote.  Its almost a science; conservatives and some independents and rich folks and tea party and Obama haters and southern states and outright rascist will vote for GOP candidate. As most women, regular democrats, blue collars, the other half of independents and gays and some students will vote Obama.  The biggest question mark for people and you hear it all the time is how will African Americans, Latinos, etc vote will they even vote as prior to Obama first election alot of the large segments of the population didnt vote or care to as they figured, my voice wont be heard.  Second will black folks support Obama and if so who will rally to energize that vote, will Latinos vote for Obama and not Romney due to Romney's stance of immigration and other issues.  We will see, Bottom line is HOW WILL YOU VOTE.  If everyone knows how important  their own voice is and exercise their right to vote and not worry bout who else will vote or how the election will turn out your voice does matter in a election that CAN POSSIBLY be the most important ever, no blood pumping American should sit this election out.  It is your duty, please dont wait till the last minute to make sure you vote is valid.  If you move or change anything about your personal info make sure your ready to go in November. THE WORLD WILL BE WATCHING US, THE US!!!!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA

Incumbent presidents always have an edge over their opponents when it comes to general elections. The GOP does not have its house in order since there is no clear forerunner one year to the elections. The Tea Party movement has not helped matters because it has alienated most Americans, including moderate conservatives. However, these are not the only reason why President Obama is likely to be given another 4-year term by the American people. President Obama will be the direct Democratic Presidential candiate – he does not need to go through primaries since he is an incumbent president.

President Barack Obama has had several accomplishments thus far, although nothing he does seems to escape the criticism of the GOP. The current house speaker has even stated that The Republicans will do everything they can to make him a one term president. One of Obama’s accomplishments is the winding down of the war in Iraq. There is criticism that the war has cost Americans billions of dollars, but what The Republicans seem to forget (thankfully not the American public) is that the war was started under a Republican presidency. Another of Obama’s accomplishments is that the reduction in the number of American soldiers on the front line. This is likely to lead to the re-election of Barack Obama because most Americans are sick of the war and its impact on the economy and they want the troops to come back home. There has been criticism by the GOP that this is likely to lead to greater loss of life and the war will not be won, but the American public is behind the president.

Another of the accomplishments that will lead to the re-election of Barack Obama is that he managed to kill Osama Bin Laden. Osama was responsible for the loss of thousands of American lives and his death is bound to improve security at home and in the Middle East. The President was able to push through a medicare plan that will help millions of Americans who have pre-existing conditions and who are poor. This was despite a lot of resistance from The Republicans. Other Obama’s accomplishments are based around foreign policy. Under Obama, the Israelis and the Palestinians are on talking terms. Unemployment is on the increase, but it must be noted that the current financial downturn started in 2008 under the Bush administration. The just announced job plan that seeks to increase taxes to the trick is likely to lead to the re-election of Barack Obama. Other Obama’s accomplishments are the closing tax credit loopholes and offshore tax havens, the repeal of DADT (Don’t Ask Don’t Tell), the promotion of arts and culture (such as increased funding for the NEA or the National Endowment for the Arts, and the cutting of salaries for over 60 bailout executives.
